Welcome to my blog! I've been meaning to set up a personal site for a while now, and I'm excited to finally have it up and running.
Why I Started This Blog
Writing helps me think. There's something about putting words on a screen that forces clarity in a way that just thinking doesn't.
I plan to write about:
- Software engineering — things I learn at work or in side projects
- Design — what makes tools feel good to use
- Books — mostly nonfiction, occasionally fiction
The Tech Stack
This blog is built with:
- Next.js for the framework
- MDX for writing posts in Markdown with JSX
- Tailwind CSS for styling
I chose this stack because it's fast, simple, and I enjoy working with it.
